Travailing Prayer

Travailing prayer is not an emotional led prayer. Travailing prayer is a spirit led prayer. Most of the time it is a birthing prayer. It births something you’ve been carrying in your heart that God wants to deliver.

It’s a level of intensity marked by the Holy Spirit to bring to pass through prayer a promise, healing for someone’s body, deliverance from bondage or saving of a person’s soul. Travailing and intercessory prayer together produce the results of the Holy Spirit. We may be sense a great desire to pray for a person, ministry, city, or nation. As we yield ourselves to the Holy Spirit he can pray through us to cause that need to be met. This intercession can be experienced for a few minutes, several hours, several weeks, or months, etc.

Hebrew word (yalad) which means to give birth to something, time of delivery, or intense labor.                                                                                                                                                                     Isaiah 66:7-8                                                                                                                                 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.

Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God

Hebrew Word (telah) It involves an intense labor to bring something.

Genesis 35:16.                                                                                                                                     And they journeyed from Bethel; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labour.

What is Passion Week?

Passion week also known as Holy Week is the week from Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday or Resurrection Sunday. Passion week is named because of the passion where Jesus Christ voluntarily went to the cross to pay for the sins of all mankind. Jesus Christ truly demonstrated His passion for us and the suffering he willingly went through on our behalf.

Passion week begins with the triumphal entry on Palm Sunday where Jesus rode on the back of the colt as prophesied Zechariah 9:9. The four gospels share the biblical account of the memorable events of Passion Week. We should be passionate about our worship to Christ and about sharing God’s love to others.

Today Is Your Crossover Day

Today is the day of significant things taking place in your life. Significant things will began to unfold as you agree with Heaven’s blueprint for your life. The Bible is God’s blueprint for everyday living. Many are at crossroads in life. I encourage you not to succumb to fear, doubt, and unbelief. Choose to surrender to put your faith in God and His word. Your crossroad will become moments you see the power of Christ at your “Cross” road moments. Today is your cross over a day.

What is a crossover? A crossover can mean to change from one activity or style to another. It can also mean a path ( often marked) where something as a street or railroad can be crossed to get from one side to the other.

I encourage you today to crossover from:

worry to peace

Fearful living to Faith living

Disorder to order

Unbelief to belief

Procrastination to being punctual

Lack to needs being met

Hate to love

Hopelessness to being hopeful.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Romans 15:13 (NKJV).

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV)

Abraham – Who against in hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, so shall seed be. Romans 4:18

Today if you can believe all things are possible for you that believe. Mark 9:23

Act on your God-given desires and dreams.

Draw the line in the sand and crossover to God’s glorious plan for your life.

This is the day of your crossover and begin to rejoice.

For the scripture says, whosoever believe in him shall not be ashamed. Romans 10:11

I look forward in reading your reply about your decision in making this moment your crossover day.

Romans 10:9-10

Don’t See Yourself Small and Insignificant

God has created you for a purpose and with a purpose. You are not an accident or an incident. You are loved by God! You have something the world needs. Discover and appreciate your God given gifts. Make the decision today not to allow people, possessions or lack thereof, or problems define who you are. Your value and worth must not be in the hands of another. They may not recognize your true value and worth. You are fearfully and wonderfully made by God.

Make the decision today not to despise where you are. Where you are in life is just a moment in time. Today make the choice not to allow it to become a monument.

Today is a new day to begin a new journey in life. Jesus came that you may have life and have it more abundantly. Do not put your life on hold. Ask God to open your eyes to see his abundance that He has for you. Begin to live in the abundance of God’s presence, love, peace, joy and wholeness because He has so much more for you.

This is your year. Make it what you desire it to be from your heart.

Merry Christmas- God’s Gift To You

ecard-camels

Christmas gifts come in all shapes and sizes.—there are gifts to be wrapped, both to give and receive. However, there is no greater gift than the heavenly Father’s, who freely gave His only Son to be born as a baby destined for the Cross and to save us from our sins. He came to give us abundant life and eternal life.

Merry Christmas

Merry- delightful. pleasant, agreeable, jovial, laughter

Why is It Merry? Because of the second word Christmas

Christmas is a time of great joy for celebrating the miraculous birth of our wonderful Savior.

Isaiah 9:6a For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given;

Luke 2:11

For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

Matthew 1:18-21

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly.

20 But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

 Luke 2:10-14

Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.

11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:

14 “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”[

Romans 5:7-8                                                                                                                                       “For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Rom. 5:7-8)

God’s Gift to You – His Son Jesus Christ

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights…” (James 1:17)

I encourage you to receive God’s love gift for you. Pray this prayer and receive His Son Jesus Christ in your heart:

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ.

The Word of God says “Whosoever call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13). I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that He died on the Cross for my sins, and that He rose from the dead on the third day.

I ask Jesus right now to come into my heart. I repent of my sins and I surrender myself completely to you. I confess you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you for making me a new person and forgiving me of my sins. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Have a Merry Christ-mas.

Worship The One Who Created You

God has created you in his image and after his likeness. God knew you before you entered your mother’s womb. God created you with a purpose and for a purpose. God loves you with an everlasting love. God is looking for you to be a worshipper of Him. God desires you to be a true worshipper.

The Bible states in John 4 that there was a woman who had five failed relationships. She encountered five failed marriages, yet that did not stop Jesus from seeing her with the eyes of love. She did not allow her past failures hinder her from receiving love from Christ. Jesus taught her about worship and she received the Word on Worship. Worship has many definitions.

Worship – The Greek words for “worship” in this verse is Proskuneo. Pros means in the direction of or towards, and kuneo is a word for kiss. It is a word of warm affection. Worship is showing affection to God.

There is an English word worship that originates from an Old English word “worthship,” which was a word that denoted the worthiness of the one receiving the special honor or devotion. Worship is giving God his due worth.

Worship is giving God his due worth. To esteem to the worth, awe, adoration

Psalms 29:2                                                                                                                                   Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

When you worship you give “worth” to something. It is to tell what it is worth. When you give to God something that is worth something to you- you are telling God you are worth more to me than the something you gave to God.

Worship is giving God all that you are and all that you have. Worship is receiving God’s love and responding to His love by serving Him with all of your passion through the gifts and talents that God has given you that will bring Him Honor.

Thanksgiving

History of Thanksgiving
Our founding father of America, George Washington, acknowledge God’s purpose of thanksgiving over this great nation. In October 1879 he made this humble declaration. Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will to grateful for his benefits, and humbly implore His protection and favor- and whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee to requested me to recommend to the People of the United States a Day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of the Almighty God especially by affording them and opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness.

Thanksgiving must have its root inside of you before it can bear fruit on the outside.
Thanksgiving is an expression of gratitude.
Thanksgiving is an attitude of appreciation and gratitude to God for something received from Him or for what He has done.

Three Reasons Why I Give God Thanks

I am thankful to God for sending His Only Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for me. For God so the loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

I am thankful that I can experience the good life that God has planned for me before I was even born.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

I am thankful that the quality of life I can live now is better than the kind of life the world has to offer me. Jesus said “I have come that they may have life, and that they have it more abundantly. John 10:10

Romans 10:9-10
