When You Are Feeling Alone…..

When you are feeling alone know that you are not alone. You may say “wait, I don’t understand what do you mean.” Let me further explain myself. You are not alone in how you feel. Many people, if not all of us at one time or another, felt all alone. Being alone does not necessarily mean being in a place where there is nobody in your environment.
One could be in a classroom setting among many and feel all alone. How about sitting in a restaurant getting a meal and you observing people sitting with others and you are by yourself. Some even stated they could be in their house with their spouse and children and unfortunately feel alone. Then there are children who have siblings and have shared time but yet felt alone in their own world. Then there are children who does not have any siblings and can experience those feelings of being alone. Going off to college, starting a new job, even in a new city or state can experience the emotions of feeling alone.

I am reminded of the people in the Bible that was faced with having to deal with being alone.
Jacob was left alone. Sometimes we are left alone by our own choosing. Often times we can handle it better when it’s our own choice. There are different things that cause us to be alone. The passing of a loved one, pet, or separation from those you love dearly. All you here are the sounds that you alone make in your dwelling place. Having to deal with that is quite different.
In Jacob’s time of being alone he had an encounter with God that gave him a new identity. God is no respecter of person. Just like Jacob wrestled with his old identity then he surrendered, I see you doing the same. I see you receiving a new identity in Christ. Perhaps you have been wrestling with career choices, relationships, future endeavors , but all things will be made clear.

We know all things work together for the good to them who love God and called according to his purpose. This time of being alone will bring you to new self discoveries and perhaps even to a new a place. God has not forgotten about you. God brings beauty out of ashes.
The Apostle Paul even had to face times of being alone. He wrote a letter to Timothy his son in the ministry and said all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. Yet he did stop right there and quit his assignment. The next thing he said was notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthen me…. When you all alone it is my prayer you experience the Lord’s presence standing with you to the point you sense and receive the strength that comes from the Lord.
I often have said, Lord I may not do everything with a smile on my face, but if you give me the grace I will continue to run the race. God has been faithful.
I encourage you to ask God to show what you need to say and do in this season of your life.

Ask God to show you how to worship God with all your heart. When you enter His presence with praise and thanksgiving, you will experience His peace and His joy. Psalms 100:4, Psalms 16:11
There are people in your world that need your gifts, wisdom, and your love. You are an answered prayer to someone. As you go forth God will bless you in ways you would have not imagined. What you make happen for others- God will make happen for you. God loves you and He is faithful to His promise. Hebrews 10:23
Remember you are not alone.
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I WILL NEVER [under any circumstances] DESERT YOU [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], NOR WILL I FORSAKE or LET YOU DOWN or RELAX MY HOLD ON YOU [assuredly not]!” Hebrews 13:5 Amplified Bible.
