He Is Coming

One day the one who loves the very ground you walk on, the one who loves you unconditionally with no strings attached is coming back to the earth. That person is Christ Jesus. He desires you to be apart of His family. He does not force His love on anyone. Some people reject His love and many receive His love. You can receive His love today. Simply, you receive His love by giving Him your heart.

Revelation 19:11-16
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.

Hero

Who is your hero? You are some persons hero and you may not even know it. Often times when we think of the word hero we think in terms of rescuing someone from a near death experience. That is heroic. When someone risks their life to save another person. But, when I think of Jesus Christ who gave His life to save and to rescue mankind from self destruction as well as eternal damnation. Jesus the Hero came to give mankind eternal life and abundant life here on earth. That is heroic in a place of none other.
When I think of heroes I think also of my family. Certainly I thank God for my parents, my siblings, my wife who in different seasons of my life did heroic acts on my behalf. I thank God that none had to be a near death situation, however it was a defining moment and it changed and enhanced my life for the better. So I say they are my heroes. Trust me I have many more.
I would like to know who are your heroes of love? Have you told them? If so I encourage you to do so.
I notice when people rescue people from a burning car, rescue people from a house on fire, or rescue someone who is drowning they simply say I was just doing my job. Or they say I just happen to be at the right place at the right time. They often do not think of themselves as someone’s hero.
Maybe you have not rescued someone out of burning car or house, someone drowning in a lake, pool or river. Again those are no doubt heroic acts.
However, if you stepped over the line of your comfort zone, did an unselfish act for someone, met a financial need, gave of your time to listen to someone who was distressed, discouraged, depressed, comfort someone who lost a loved one, gave of yourself, gave needed wisdom that changed the direction of a person’s life for the better than you are a Hero!
I say thank you for doing what you did and being someone’s hero. Someone who may never say it but knows that your life and your actions made a world difference in their lives.
