“I Have An Inheritance”

“I Have An Inheritance”
Who is the source of my inheritance. Once I know and identify the source I can know what to expect. God is the source of my inheritance.
God is the source of my inheritance.
God told Abram to look as far as north, south, east, and west- and as far as he can see God will give it to him and to His seed forever. Genesis 13:14-15
Galatians 3:29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Romans 4:13 For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

Romans 4:16 Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

II Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Romans 8:17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
I also became a heir of God and Joint heir of Christ.
What is a Heir-One who is entitled to possess; To inherit; to take possession of an estate of inheritance, after the death of the ancestor;
We give the title to a person who is to inherit after the death of an ancestor A man’s children are his heirs.

Acts 26:18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’
I obtain my inheritance through the Word of God.

Acts 20:32 “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. (set apart).
God is the source of my inheritance.
God reveal His character right from the beginning of the Bible. We know who God is and what God does. From the creation- Genesis 1:4,10, 12, 18,21, 25, 31.

God is my source of my inheritance who is a good God and does only good things. God is a good God and he only does good things.
God’s goodness did not stop at creation. God is good all the time and all the time God is good.
Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not;
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
God’s nature is good. God is good and the enemy is bad. God is a good God.

Psalms 107:1, 136:1 Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
Psalms 34:8 We are invited to embrace and experience God for ourselves. Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
taste – has to do with experience. see- has to do with perception. What you allow yourself to experience will change your perception of God as well as yourself and world. Then you see God is Good to me, for me and for others.

Even when things are contrary to what you desire or negative situations or environment you encounter- you will not blame God for it.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:28 Amp. Bible

God is a loving Father and he teach us through His Word. He corrects us, discipline us, exhort us – but as a good Loving Father.
Hebrew 12:5-7 (Message Bible) And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: “My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;
6 For whom the LORD loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives. 7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten?
My dear child, don’t shrug off God’s discipline, but don’t be crushed by it either.
It’s the child he loves that he disciplines; the child he embraces, he also corrects. God is educating you; that’s why you must never drop out.
He’s treating you as dear children. Only irresponsible parents leave children to fend for themselves. Would you prefer an irresponsible God? But God is doing what is best for us, training us to live God’s holy best.
At the time, discipline isn’t much fun. It always feels like it’s going against the grain. Later, of course, it pays off handsomely, for it’s the well-trained who find themselves mature in their relationship with God.
Psalms 16:6 (KJV)
The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. (NKJV) The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance.
You do not have a bad heritage, but a good one. You do not have a pitiful heritage but a good one. You do not have sickly heritage but a good one. You do not have a broke heritage but a good one.
Whatever is not good in my life did not come from God so resend it back to the sender- kingdom of darkness.

Whatever that cannot be said good -God is not source. If it is not good than it is not God because God is always good.
God does not withhold good from you. Psalms 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.

Luke 12:31-32 But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.32 “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
Jesus is the King and in his Kingdom – Romans 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Psalms 86:5 For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.

Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
Matt. 13:24-30 A man sowed good seeds in the field, while he slept, his enemy sowed tares in the same field. When his servants asked him, Sir did you not sow good seed in your field? Why is it growing tares? he replied and enemy has done this. So whatever is not good in my life is a work of the enemy. God’s solution for me is Jesus! I John 3:8 ….For this purpose was the Son of God manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (Undo, loosen, reverse)
Don’t be deceived into mistaking your present condition for your portion. Don’t settle for that being your portion.

My portion in God is established in the scriptures. Psalms 119:89 Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven.
God’s Word is powerful to do for me and through me God’s good pleasure.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
God and His Word is One in the same. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
God love you. God is for you. Psalmist said .. when my mother and father forsake me the Lord shall lift me up.

Rather reach out in faith and lay hold to God’s Word and watch God turn things around for me. Luke 21:13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

God is a good God and He only does good things. John 3:16 So God so loved the world
Romans 5:8
Today God want to open a new chapter in your life.

Receive God our Heavenly Father’s love . Give your heart to Jesus.
Let God heal help you and heal you. Jesus is the Healer of the Broken hearted.

He Is Coming

One day the one who loves the very ground you walk on, the one who loves you unconditionally with no strings attached is coming back to the earth. That person is Christ Jesus. He desires you to be apart of His family. He does not force His love on anyone. Some people reject His love and many receive His love. You can receive His love today. Simply, you receive His love by giving Him your heart.

Revelation 19:11-16
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.

Hero

Who is your hero? You are some persons hero and you may not even know it. Often times when we think of the word hero we think in terms of rescuing someone from a near death experience. That is heroic. When someone risks their life to save another person. But, when I think of Jesus Christ who gave His life to save and to rescue mankind from self destruction as well as eternal damnation. Jesus the Hero came to give mankind eternal life and abundant life here on earth. That is heroic in a place of none other.
When I think of heroes I think also of my family. Certainly I thank God for my parents, my siblings, my wife who in different seasons of my life did heroic acts on my behalf. I thank God that none had to be a near death situation, however it was a defining moment and it changed and enhanced my life for the better. So I say they are my heroes. Trust me I have many more.
I would like to know who are your heroes of love? Have you told them? If so I encourage you to do so.
I notice when people rescue people from a burning car, rescue people from a house on fire, or rescue someone who is drowning they simply say I was just doing my job. Or they say I just happen to be at the right place at the right time. They often do not think of themselves as someone’s hero.
Maybe you have not rescued someone out of burning car or house, someone drowning in a lake, pool or river. Again those are no doubt heroic acts.
However, if you stepped over the line of your comfort zone, did an unselfish act for someone, met a financial need, gave of your time to listen to someone who was distressed, discouraged, depressed, comfort someone who lost a loved one, gave of yourself, gave needed wisdom that changed the direction of a person’s life for the better than you are a Hero!
I say thank you for doing what you did and being someone’s hero. Someone who may never say it but knows that your life and your actions made a world difference in their lives.

Make This Your Comeback Year

You crown the year with Your goodness, and your paths drip with abundance.     (Psalms 65:11)

This is my year to see setbacks turn into comebacks!

“Comeback” is actually a single word meaning, “A regaining of success, fame, health, prosperity, recovery, to return to a former good position, high rank, or condition after a loss, the act of making up a deficit as in a contest or game.”

A “Comeback Story” is one in which someone succeeds against impossible odds, often through overcoming a time of struggle. It is the “come from behind” story that has everyone cheering.

It is the person who has failed time and again finally triumphing and attaining the victory and success.

It is the underdog who may have suffered many losses and heartbreaking defeat, who through determination rises above every barrier and obstacle to obtain the prize. It is going from a position of being broken down to a position of breaking through!

Moses was a murderer and a fugitive who became a deliverer and was known as a friend of God.

Joseph was the dreamer, forgotten in prison in a foreign land, who became the prime minister of the greatest empire of the day.

Job lost everything, yet God restored double of ALL that was lost.

Peter denied Christ three times but was used by God to preach to win 3000 souls on the day of Pentecost.

Jesus—the greatest comeback story of them all—was beaten, crucified and killed, yet conquered death, hell and the grave and came back to life and is now seated with honor at the right hand of God! Wow!

Receive the grace of God that will enable you to make every month of this  year part of your comeback year. I will love to hear and read your comeback story.

Romans 10:9-10

This Is Your Year

Choose to make this year the best year of your life. Everyday is a gift of God. In every decision that need to be made choose life. I choose to walk in agreement with God’s Word for my life. I know with God you cannot go wrong. His love, wisdom, and guidance will not steer you wrong. His path has been and is the best path for myself and for others. His path will shine brighter and brighter every step of the way. I choose to receive the Father’s love (God our Heavenly Father) more and more in my life. The Father’s love is a love that is undeniable and unconditional. The Father’s love is a love that daily loads you and I with benefits. That’s why I choose to make this year  a year like no other in my life. I hope that is your desire and decision you make as well. Anything great doesn’t just happen it must be planned. Plan your victories for the rest of this year.
