There is a time to speak and there is a time to listen. We are also instructed to be swift to hear and slow to speak. I encourage you to take some quiet time to reflect on your accomplishments. Great things will come out of your quiet time this year. Quietness is a great price, it shall be your strength, and you will not be easily distracted.
I Peter 3:4
But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
Isaiah 30:15 For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength:
I Thessalonians 4:11
And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
Get quiet and not allow yourself to become easily distracted. If you want to be defeated then become distracted. If you focus on the distraction it will become your main attraction. Don’t focus on what you don’t have, but use what you do have. Put feet to your faith. You will have great accomplishments.
